The Fair

Saturday Moe,Isabel,Grandma and Grandpa and I all went to the LA County Fair. It was definitely a busy day. We had wait a couple minutes just to pay for our parking, than waiting for the tram was an ordeal. Even Grandpa was starting to lose his patience but we finally made it inside. And immediately we were overwhelmed. We try looking at the map and guide to figure out where we wanted to go but they were no help so we just started walking. First place we stop was at the bark park. Isabel got to see the puppies and play in the mister they had.And Isabel and I some photo fun Then we finally found the petting zoo we had been looking for. They had pony rides and at first Isabel got all excited and went right in, she even let the attendant pick her up but as soon as we tried to get her on the pony it was a no go. So onto the petting zoo. Again totally excited but did not actually want to get down and pet the animals. Although in her defense those animals were not shy. They had no problem jumping on whoever had the littlest bit of food.

After the petting zoo we just kind of wandered around. Got something to eat. Than isabel saw these chairs and wanted to sit in them, than made me sit next to her, than made Moe sit in the 3rd. Than Grandpa realize Isabel and I matched our chairs and since grandma was wearing yellow we made her sit down.

Then it was onto the farm section. Now that Isabel liked. She could look at the animals,even pet a few but since they were all on the other side of the fence she didn't have to worry about them getting too close.

Here is where Moe had a funny little moment that just cracked me up,Grandma got an -oh-so-pretty picture of me just laughing it up. Can you tell I am about to pee in my pants from laughing so hard?

After all the animals it was nap-time. Us big people got something to eat and just sat down to relax. The day was defintely taking it's toll on Grandma and I. Grandma's foot was really starting to hurt her. And my sciata was acting up plus other really fun pregnancy symptoms.

When we were done resting we decided to try and find Winter Wonderland,it took some guessing but we found it. Grandma tried out their foot reflexology booth. While Moe and I wandered the other booths. Our sleeping beauty must of sense something fun was ahead cause she woke up just as we came up to the snow area. Yup they had brought in real snow for everyone to play in. They even had an ice skating rink and a little hill with sleds. Isabel was not a big fan of the snow at first, it was seeping into her sandals but as soon as we changed her into the tennis shoes we had brought ,she had a ball. They even had a snowfall every 20min or so. We were there long enough to see 2 of them and Isabel was just amazed. Grandpa was just trying to figure out how to he could do it for his christmas display.

We decided to try the sledding hill next. Here is Isabel's first time on a sled (and Moe's as well). Isabel loved it. The second they stopped and she saw grandpa she just yelled "slide grandpa slide"

Moe not so in love with it :) but being the good dada that he is did it again for Isabel.

And she loved it even more. I see many many trips up to the snow for us.

After all that fun we were all just exhausted so we decided to call it a day. We maneuvered our way out through the crowds,grabbed a bucket of donuts (yummm) and waited for the tram.

Home we went to rest and recover. Sunday we spent the day doing nothing, except laying around watching TV and alternating between ice packs and heat pads. isabel of course was perfectly fine except for sleeping in a little later than usual.
