1st Checkup

We took Joaquin for his first checkup this morning. It was also the first time we  had to get two babies ready for the day. Even with starting at 9:20 we still didn't get into the car until 10:42. His appt was at 10:40. Luckily it's near by so we were only about 10 mins late.  

They weighed him and the dr checked him out. Isabel got to sit on the table and watch. She was extremely well behaved the whole time. Answering all the dr's questions and petting Joaquin.

Joaquin did really too. Fussing when he was being examined but otherwise a really good baby.

  

The dr gave him a A+. She said everything looked just fantastic.  They usually want babies to get to the birth weight by at least 2 weeks. Joaquin already hit it. When we left the hospital on Thurs he was 8lbs 3 ozs. Today he was 8lbs 12ozs.  That's 9ozs in 4 days!! Looks like we have another big baby on our hands. He's growing even faster than Isabel did and man is that a scary thought.

We have already said good bye to most of the 0-3mths onesies we had. EEgads my babies!!
