I'm still here
I know I know I am horrible at this stuff. I just can't seem to find the time to sit long enough to write something. And the few times I have tried to load videos the computer always acts up. So while I have some down time, heres a quick update. Life is crazy as always. The kids are nothing but trouble, and the worse kind of trouble. The loveable, adorable kind. Isabel is all attitude and dramatics. We are thinking of trying her out for some commercials but I'm not sure if I want her learning how to be a better actress. Joaquin is just undescriable. He really is just one of those kids you have to see in action. He never stops moving, even in his sleep he all over the place. And his smile, oh man, it is killer. And you get hypotize and don't even realize disaster is about to strike. Gma says his smile should come with the Jaws soundtrack. Isabel is still very much a princess, she loves playing dress up, and baby dolls and restaurant. Shes at the point where sometimes she doesn't even want us toplay with her and will just sit in her room with all her dolls and have just an elborate story going on. A lot of the time she brings Joaquin into as well. Just this week alone they've pretended to be dogs, monkies, babies, Toy Story characters and who knows what else. Joaquin loves dinosaurs, cars and Toy Story. Gma & Gpa got him a set of dinosaurs and safari animals for his bday and those get more play than anything. He will line them up to watch tv and to play hopscotch and he will feed them and growl. His vocabulary is increasing at a very rapid rate. Right now his favorite words are "Belbel" (Isabel) , "Idk", "cracker", "cookies", "more pleazzzee", "saur saur" (dinosaur), "juice", "room play play" (playroom) Moe & I have both started working out, hoping to just maybe have a chance of keeping up with them. I've been at it for about 3 mths, not counting the couple breaks I've taken here & there. But so far I've lost 11 lbs and 7.5inches so hopefully I can keep it going. Moe just started but he's pretty determined. Work is work. Moe's been on some crazy hours. Working 10 hours a day, plus a sat here and there. We are still doing the midday switch off, where I get home and 15 min later he is out the door. Its hard but at least we both get time with the kids and they don't have to be in daycare all day long. Which reminds me Joaquin finally started preschool. He's been going two days a week from 8:30-12:30 (same as isabel) for about a mth now. And from the very get go he loved it. The first day we walked into the classroom, he walked right in started playing with the toys and never even looked back. We stayed outside watching him thru the window for about an hour and he never even looked for us. The teachers say he is an absoulte joy and it's always an adventure with him around. He almost always comes home in his back up clothes. And I have yet to see any artwork of his, mostly because most of the paint ends up on him. But this school is really good about warning parents that they get messy so do not put your kids in anything you don’t want stained. So far there's only been one day where he cried when Moe dropped him off but he was over it within a minute. Isabel is her Auntie Tanya all the way, such a social butterfly. She makes sure to hug all her friends good bye and tells me exactly who is suppose to be there on what day and what they were wearing and who had what for lunch. Both kids have become pros with my new iphone. They know which button to push to unlock it how to slide the lock across the screen. Once I load their game they know how to choose which puzzle and go from one to the other. J will wake up from a nap, see my phone and immediately grab it "phone mama, phone, bird bird tweet tweet pleazzze" That's his way of saying he wants to play angry birds. Hopefully sometime soon I can actually post some pics and videos, so stay tuned :)
